With USAID support over the past four years, the Energy Summit in Neum has become the main meeting place for energy stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Co-organized and hosted by USAID’s Energy Investment Activity and the German Development Agency, the summit is the only annual event in which representatives of state and both entity institutions gather to discuss and agree on energy-related issues with experts from the region and worldwide.

More than 400 people attended the 4th annual summit in April 2018.

The energy sector is one of the most dynamic economic sectors in BiH, and with the right political decisions, the reforms and changes recommended at the summit could drive economic development in BiH on its path to the EU and self-reliance.
