This report documents the resilience analysis of the baseline data collected for the impact evaluation (IE) of the Resilience in the Sahel Enhanced (RISE) initiative. The overarching goal of RISE is to increase the resilience of chronically vulnerable populations in agro-pastoral and marginal agriculture livelihood zones of the Sahel. The 5-year project is being implemented in targeted zones of Burkina Faso and Niger in West Africa. The overall objective of the RISE IE is to provide insight into how the package of RISE interventions impacts (1) households‘ resilience; (2) households‘ and communities‘ resilience capacities (factors that enhance resilience); and (3) household food security.
