Objective:This activity seeks to improve the knowledge, skills, and abilities of USAID/Jamaica’s local partners to improve security and prosperity, in collaboration with key public and private sector partners.

Program Targets:The objective is to strengthen partners’ capacity in an effort to assume ownership of programs thereby increasing public safety and security, and promoting social justice. In addition, support the development of a stronger cadre of civil society organizations and social enterprises that will be better equipped to engage and coordinate across stakeholder groups.

• Strengthen the capacity of targeted local entities,
• Support Social Enterprises through a business incubator model,
• Improve the enabling environment for civil society organizations and social enterprises, and
• Intentional collaboration between civil society, government, and the private sector.
