Through Transformation, USAID is committed to addressing open audit recommendations from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in a timely manner. In May 2018 the audit recommendation backlog was eliminated ahead of schedule, but the process to ensure the backlog remains eliminated is ongoing.
