Many of the most significant achievements in human progress have come from harnessing the power of science, technology and innovation to accelerate economic development. In health, new and better ways are being developed to deliver low-cost, high-impact health interventions capable of reaching more people, saving more lives and lowering costs. Through simple, innovative and cost-effective solutions, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is helping to promote health in settings across the world.
