Today, the United States’ government Agency for International Development (USAID) and Oasis Agro LLC inaugurated a new animal feed mill in Osh city. Osh Vice Mayor Mr Saibjan Turduev and USAID/Kyrgyz Republic Economic Development Office Director Mr Gary Shu took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility.

December 12, 2018

On December 8, 2018, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev visited Interfruit LLC, a dried fruit processing facility in Uch-Korgon, Batken oblast. Joined by USAID Mission Director Gary Linden, Prime Minister Abylgaziev familiarized himself with the facility and how it sources locally grown fruits to supply global markets.

The new modern facility will produce kefir, curd, sour cream, cheese, butter, and other dairy products in compliance with international food safety standards.
November 2, 2018

On November 2, 2018, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Donald Lu inaugurated the Alaiku Organics milk processing facility in Osh city. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) supported the establishment of the new facility, which will become the largest active dairy processing facility in southern Kyrgyzstan. USAID saw this industrial expansion as an opportunity to raise the incomes of local farmers, who will be needed to supply to the new facility with up to five tons of milk per day.
