Today, President Donald J. Trump signed the Executive Order to Rebrand United States Foreign Assistance. By requiring U.S. Government Departments and Agencies to use a single logo for all U.S. foreign assistance, the President has taken an important step in promoting awareness about the compassion and generosity of the American people around the world. As the institution responsible for implementing the largest amount of U.S. foreign assistance, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) commends this powerful Executive Order.
The United States has stood with communities in our partner countries for decades by providing billions in aid to help those affected by natural disasters and conflict, support civil society and faith-based groups, strengthen health care, and encourage resilient economic growth.
USAID looks forward to implementing this important Executive Order in close coordination with the U.S. Department of State and the nearly two dozen U.S. Government Departments and Agencies that work every day on the important mission to promote self-reliance and a more peaceful, safe, and prosperous world.
