USAID National Security Advisor Eddy Acevedo, Senior Advisor Neilesh Shelat, and Special Advisor on Religious Pluralism in the Middle East Samah Norquist are visiting Jordan February 9-10 to advance USAID’s bilateral cooperation with Jordan and its work to support religious and ethnic minorities in the country.
While in Jordan, the delegation will meet with government officials and visit local organizations where USAID is helping in community efforts to advance inclusive economic growth, support refugees, and promote religious pluralism. Jordan has a long tradition of tolerance and hospitality, and is a key partner in promoting regional stability.
