The following is attributable to Spokesperson Tom Babington:
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green visited Kigali, Rwanda on June 16. The Administrator visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi, paying respect to those who perished more than twenty-five years ago. He also met with President Paul Kagame at the Presidential Palace to discuss Rwanda's journey to self-reliance and promote continued collaboration, particularly on activities that support private sector and economic development through job creation, building human capital, and citizen participation.
