Each year, we commemorate World Tuberculosis (TB) Day to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, a preventable and curable disease.

To accelerate the TB response in the Philippines, USAID works with the Department of Health to find and treat 2.5 million people with TB in the next five years.

The video features 14 Filipino celebrities from the world of cinema, television, music, journalism, business, and sports, including actresses Iza Calzado and Andi Eigenmann, singer Christian Bautista and actor Mikael Daez. Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III and U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim also join the video to encourage everyone to help end TB and to remind everyone that it is preventable and curable.
