With technical assistance from the USAID SHIFT Project, and in collaboration with the USAID Community HIV Link and USAID Healthy Markets projects, mobile teams from the Nghe An Department of Health (DOH) and Dien Bien Provincial AIDS Center (PAC) reached and tested 435 members of key populations, and enrolled 77 people living with HIV (PLHIV) on antiretroviral therapy. District outpatient clinic staff, HIV testing and counseling center staff, community supporters, DOH staff, and PAC staff took part in the December 19-23 mobile missions in Nghe An and Dien Bien Provinces, spanning a total of 16 communes. Mobile Reach-Test-Start/Treat (mRTS) missions are a critical channel for bringing HIV services to remote and underserved areas.
