WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Because an educated girl is a healthier girl, a girl who will care for her children, who will earn more income,who will reinvest that income into her family, her community, and her country.
- For every extra year a girl stays in school her income can increase by 15 to 25%.
- Educated women invest 90% of their income into their family.
- Educated mothers are more than twice as likely to send their children to school.
- Educated women lead to thriving societies.
