USAID plays an active and critical role in the promotion of development worldwide. The investments we make in countries and our efforts to promote inclusive development can help provide long-term benefits for Indigenous Peoples and their communities. We engage with Indigenous Peoples to ensure that our programs recognize each community’s unique identity, knowledge and expertise, and our shared development goals. On this webpage we will present the opportunities for USAID to support and promote Indigenous Peoples’ rights and development.
