The Career Centers are taking the lead to ensure that youth are fully equipped to enter the job market and connect with potential recruiters, enabling them to thrive in Morocco’s workforce.
At the end of the first official meeting with the Regional Office for Education and Training of Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, the USAID team left not only with a strong partner, but a promise for sustainability.
USAID aims to improve the Arabic reading skills of DHH children in grades 1 through 3 in schools for the deaf by improving the availability and quality of reading materials and teacher resources. To achieve this, USAID developed software to help teachers and parents easily create and publish MSL-supported educational materials to teach reading to DHH students.
USAID Career Center officially opened its sixth and final pilot Career Center, hosted by the Specialized Institute for Applied Hotel and Tourism Technology (ISTAHT) in Marrakech, on February 14th, 2018. The opening event provided an opportunity for newly-trained Career Center staff and Youth Ambassadors to introduce youth and faculty to the Career Center and promote Career Center services.
On January 18th, USAID Career Center organized an international conference in Casablanca that brought together over 100 representatives from over 60 companies to engage with experienced HR Managers from the U.S, discuss innovative HR strategies and continue to strengthen their relationships with the Career Center.
