The USAID Library is the central hub for USAID development information. It provides USAID staff with access to books, DVDs, travel guides, and other materials geared toward supporting the technical and business programs of the Agency. The Library also provides access to over 12,000 e-books and 20,000 full-text e-journals as well as databases that support agriculture, public health, social sciences, and the sciences. All of these can be accessed directly from USAID desktops or by using a token (no password required) no matter the location.

Librarians and curation experts work in the physical USAID Library in Washington, D.C. and with digital repositories. The Development Experience Clearinghouse (DEC) houses technical and project materials while the Development Data Library (DDL) preserves USAID-funded data. Both repositories play a pivotal role in preserving USAID data and information for years to come.

The library is temporarily located in room B03.06H in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.
