YEREVAN- On May 13, 2020, USAID and the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia signed an amendment to the Development Objective Cooperation Agreement for More Participatory, Effective and Accountable Governance, adding $11.5 million in assistance funding.
YEREVAN – On July 10, 2020, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne M. Tracy, helped deliver equipment and furniture to the Tavush region as part of a project to strengthen the field of social work in Armenia. The three-year project - “Community Level Access and Social Services” (CLASS) - is funded by the United States Agency for International Development and implemented by World Vision Armenia and the Child Development Foundation.
A new nationwide poll of Armenia by the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Center for Insights in Survey Research shows strong support for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
