Power Africa addresses one of the most pressing challenges to sustainable economic growth and development in sub-Saharan Africa, access to electric power. Power Africa is a high profile, fast paced initiative to increase access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable power and to ensure responsible, transparent, and effective management of energy resources in sub-Saharan African countries. Power Africa partners with other U.S. Government agencies, over 140 private sector partnerships, over 20 host country governments, and the donor community.
If you are a U.S. citizen interested in furthering your career in innovative development approaches, have experience in the distributed energy sector, ideally in developing countries, and are keen to join a fast-paced Washington, DC office, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to Power Africa’s Interview Panel at powerafricacareers@usaid.gov.
